The company’s divisions, Improvair Environmental Solutions (IES), which has been operational for over 70 years, and Ampair, which has been operational for 35 years, together make up the groups commercial HVAC division. With extensive experience in designing, installing and maintaining Chilled Water Air Conditioning Plants, Direct Expansion (DX) Air Conditioning Plants and Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRV/VRF) Air Conditioning Plants and Ventilation systems, ENGIE is a leader in the field.
Its expertise further extend beyond the traditional HVAC solutions and into highly specialised systems for unique applications, particularly data centres, cellular phone switching hubs, laboratories, surgical theatres, museums and bank volts.
ENGIE has also recently introduced the full MEP (mechanical, electrical and plumbing) solution for larger commercial projects.
State-of-the-art duct manufacturing facilities operating as the Ductshop form part of the company, manufacturing a wide range of HVAC ducting and duct accessories, complementing the range of services.
Also backed by ENGIE’s global extensive experience in renewable energy, the groups Switched-On Solar division specialises in roof-top photovoltaic solar energy solutions across Africa.
